The representative and monographic exhibitions of the Museum of Fine Arts provide an opportunity for Hungarian viewers to become acquainted with the greats characters of European art. Following Van Gogh, in 2008 the life’s work of Ferdinand Hodler will be presented. The last time a similar exhibition of Hodlers’s works was held was in Switzerland in 1983.
